After our successful Compete 2010 tournament, our Black Belt Tournament Team is looking forward to the next 2 tournaments.  On Saturday, March 13th, we will be competing at the Seaside Tournament in San Marcos, CA.  All regular classes will be cancelled for that day so come out and show your support of MAI.

San Diego Grand International tournament will be held on Sunday, April 25th at the downtown San Diego Concourse and should be an exciting, large tournament.  We hope to see you there!

We have the following belt testings coming up:

• Black Belt testing, Saturday, March 14th
• Regular testing, Saturday, March 20th
• Regular testing, Saturday, April 17th
• Regular testing, Saturday, May 15th

All testings are held from 1:00 - 3:30 p.m.  Good luck to all students!

Compete 2010 was a great competition for our Black Belt Club Tournament Team.  Overall, our team brought home 13 trophies:  2 1st places, 4 2nd places, and 7 3rd places.  A great job for our first tournament as a team!  The best quality of our team was how all team members supported and encouraged one another throughout the day.  We are all SO PROUD of the team spirit and leadership of our Black Belt Club - what an example to our dojo's students and all the other schools who were at Compete 2010.  Thanks also to the team parents who supported us throughout the day, took pictures, and helped in making our Black Belt Tournament Team a success!  Go to our Photo Gallery to see pictures from Compete 2010.
